Nipper, the dog who became the iconic trademark of RCA, gained fame by simply recognizing his master's voice. In the Gospel of John, Jesus says that sheep also recognize the voice of their master. If we are to be the sheep, how do we recognize the voice of our Shepherd? How do we listen for that voice and turn aside from the voices of thieves and robbers who would steal us away. We mediate on this in today's sermon.
